Soul Food & Music Festival (SF&MF) (Strategic Marketing Planning and Implementation)
Soul Food Music FestivalSoul Food & Music Festival – Created this event and marketed it for a client in Atlanta for seven years. We managed all aspects of this event encompassing sponsorships; widespread media coverage; food and merchandise vendors; entertainment, staging, etc. The Event involved a non-profit diabetes component, in which we provide free screenings. We brokered a relationship with WXIA-TV to carry the Festival live for their Peachtree Mornings show.

For four years, we maintained a relationship with WGCL-TV as a media partner and received over $100,000 in coverage each year. We also had a media relationship with V103-FM (the #1 radio station in the market) for air time and a live broadcast, also totaling over $100,000 each year. Sponsors we secured over the seven years included Hennessy Lexus, Lincoln-Mercury, Carnation, Mahatma Rice, The Kroger Company, Publix Super Markets, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Coca-Cola Company, Showtime, BET, Western Union, SaveRite, Bellsouth Mobility (AT&T Wireless) and Citizens Trust Bank.

Kroger CompanyWe produced this game show for The Kroger Company to reach high school students to encourage higher learning through positive reinforcement and rewards. We secured sponsored for the Program including Barnes & Nobles, The Atlanta-Journal Constitution, The Coca-Cola Company and Bellsouth Mobility (AT&T). We raised over $10,000, distributed among the four winning students. Keisha Knight Pulliam acted as a host for the program in which five schools were bused to Atlanta Symphony Hall for an entire day of arts, competition, learning and mingling with their peers.
The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (Public Relations and Advertising)
